Brè – Attractions

Brè paese (Village of Brè): The village of Brè has maintained all its ancient features. It is possible to visit the works of Pasquale Gilardi better known as Lelèn, the frescoes by Joseph Biro in the church of San Fedele, the Schmid museum with the works that the artist bequeathed and an artistic path that consists of works of Sassu, Armando Losa, Emilio Rissone, Giuliano Togni, Giancarlo Tamagni, Piergiorgio Piffaretti, Fernando Bordoni and others (source: lugano-tourism.ch).

There are restaurants, small and large grottos with terraces that offer views of the lake of Lugano and the surrounding mountains.

Alpe Bolla:  From Brè you can reach Alpe Bolla by walking through a magnificent setting surrounded by nature and you will spot numerous animals. On the alp you can also eat and stay overnight.

Gandria: After having passed (or visited) the village of Brè, you can hike down the valley to reach the village of Gandria in about 2.5 hours.
