In the southern part of the canton of Ticino, you can find Brusino Arsizio, a lovely village on the lake of Lugano. Surrounded by mountains, Brusino Arsizio is located at the foot of the famous Monte San Giorgio. Originally, fishing used to be the main industry in Brusino Arsizio. However, today there has been a considerable development in the tourism industry.
The old town is built around the church of San Michele and lingers along the shore of the lake. It is characterized by old houses and narrow streets that show the ancient past of the village.
